Cookie Notice

In force from 1 September 2026. Any earlier text is superseded.

1. Summary

vaultglimp.com sets no cookies of its own. The page itself loads no analytics library, no advertising tag and no social plug-in; the only third-party code that can appear is a performance script injected by Cloudflare, the network that delivers this domain, and it sets no cookies. The only thing this website itself writes to your device is a single value in your browser's local storage, and it exists solely so the notice bar at the foot of the home page stays closed once you have answered it. Separately, Cloudflare — the content delivery and security network that serves this domain — may set strictly technical cookies of its own. Both are listed below.

2. What the site writes

Local storage is not a cookie. It is a small store inside your own browser, it is never attached to a network request, and its contents are not transmitted to the operator, to Cloudflare or to anyone else. The value is readable only by pages served from vaultglimp.com, on the device where it was written.

3. Full list

Everything stored in your browser in connection with this website, whether written by the site or by the delivery network.
Name Category Purpose Duration Party
vg7.notice Preference (local storage, not a cookie) Records that you answered the notice bar, so it is not shown again. Holds one short word and nothing else. Until you clear site data for this domain First party — stays in your browser
__cf_bm Strictly necessary cookie Set by Cloudflare to distinguish human readers from automated traffic and to protect the site against abuse. Up to thirty minutes from the last request Third party — Cloudflare, Inc.
cf_clearance Strictly necessary cookie Set by Cloudflare only if a security challenge is shown and passed, so the same challenge is not repeated. Many readers never receive it. Up to one year, or shorter as configured by Cloudflare Third party — Cloudflare, Inc.

No other cookie is set with the knowledge of the operator. There is no advertising cookie, no measurement cookie, no session cookie and no identifier that follows you between websites, because none of the services that use such things is present here.

4. Why there is no consent gate

The two Cloudflare entries above are strictly necessary for the secure delivery of the pages you asked for, and the local-storage value is written only after you press a button on the notice bar. Nothing here profiles you or measures your behaviour, so no prior consent step is required to place it. The notice bar is informational: it tells you what happens rather than asking permission to start tracking, and both of its buttons record your answer and close the bar without changing what the site loads. If Cloudflare enables its own performance beacon at the network edge, that is added by the delivery network rather than written into these pages.

5. Removing what is stored

Clearing site data for vaultglimp.com in your browser removes the local-storage value and any Cloudflare cookie in one step: in Chrome and Edge through Settings, Privacy and security, Third-party cookies, See all site data; in Firefox through Settings, Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data, Manage Data; in Safari through Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data. Browsing in a private window discards everything when the window closes. Blocking cookies entirely is also possible, though Cloudflare may then show its security challenge more often. Removing the stored value simply brings the notice bar back on your next visit.

6. Changes

If a new technology is ever introduced that stores something on your device, this notice will be updated before it goes live and the date at the top will change with it.
